
Step 11: The Settlement
Congratulations, the negotiation phase is complete.
If all has gone well, Righteous Claim Solutions Adjuster
and the Carrier's Adjuster have agreed on the Scope of
Repairs. The Carrier's Adjuster will now ask for authority
to settle the claim at our agreed Scope of Repairs and cost.
If the Carrier agrees they should now issue a check for that
amount less the deductible and any depreciation. This is when
payment is due upon receipt of the Insurance proceeds to Righteous
Claim Solutions for the percentage stated in the original contract. The
remaining funds should be issued to you, the client, to complete your
repairs.
